This Journey

For as long as I have been journaling & blogging, I have called my life a Journey. I haven’t defined it as a bad journey, but just as a Journey. We actually never know what our journey will hold for us, we can make plans, mark down dates to get things done, but our Journey is never fully our own. We will have visitors that join us on our journey, but ultimately we have to figure out what the visitors mean for us and our journey.

 

Your Season

Sometimes we don’t realize that we go through Seasons. That certain things happen at particular times as a part of the process.

Wikipedia defines Seasons – A Season is the division of the year, marked by changes in weather, ecology and hours of daylight.

What can you say about your current Season? Has it been a good Season for you, A Season of surprise? An Overwhelming Season?

Life…

Life is a lot of work.

What is it that gives us the strength to continue when we are tired and burned out? Sometimes an inspirational idea can help us renew ourselves, and be filled with strength to fulfill our life’s purpose.

Inspiration comes in many forms. However, the root of all inspiration – is the idea that our lives are meaningful. Inspiration is knowing that what I do matters deeply to the universe. When you have the feeling that your actions are meaningful, you will become filled with strength and vigor to fulfill your life’s purpose.

The Mind Wonders

I often wonder about people that pass away… When they open their eyes and see God, do they ask why am I here already?

Does He explain to them that it was just time for them to come home? Does He say well done?

My mind often wonders about the really great people that I run across. I always assume & believe that they were Angels, sent here to show me something for a certain time frame. Then they are called home, because their job is done, their mission is complete.

Feelings

On any given day, we may feel good or bad, happy or sad, excited or discouraged, and a thousand other things. Although feelings can be very strong and demanding, we do not have to let them rule our lives.

Learn to manage your emotions rather than allowing them to manage us.

We have free will and can make decisions that are not based on feelings. Make right choices regardless of how we feel.

Enjoy the process

Do you see the effort needed to achieve success as a struggle or as a pleasure? If you consider it a struggle, you’ll fight it every step of the way and will probably not ever reach the goals you’ve set. Those who consistently achieve their goals are positively committed not only to the end results, but also to the process of attaining them.

No one does their best when doing something that is distasteful or unpleasant. And yet, there are certain specific actions necessary for success. Achievers learn to redefine their likes and dislikes. Those who accomplish much have found a way to actually enjoy the effort and discipline necessary to reach their goals.

To effectively reach your goals, you must either set those goals in accordance with your likes and dislikes, or you must align your likes and dislikes so that they compel you toward your goals. The choice is yours. The power is yours. You can enjoy whatever you decide to enjoy. Just imagine what astounding things you can accomplish when you truly decide to enjoy the process.

From Bad to Worse and then the Sun Shined!

Anyone ever notice how things go from bad to worse?

That nick in your windshield has been there for a while, because you avoided or couldn’t get it fixed. On your worse day when all are going downhill, you notice the nick is now starting to spread, and you wonder and start to say out loud -“Lord, Why Me”

That’s when you know your break thru is coming!! Just hold!!

Our Own Thoughts

Our own thoughts can play such a role in our lives. If we put in our mind that we can’t do something, then you’re already setting yourself up for failure or disappointment. If we tell ourselves that we can do it then we will have better results.
 
The way your start your day, with positive or negative thoughts, is what your day is going to be. Always think good thoughts and try to keep a positive attitude and you will feel more joy in your life and in your heart. See the beauty that surrounds you.
