We all have opportunities to get upset and live stressed out. The storms of life come to every person. No matter how good a person you are, you will have some rain in your life. When these storms come, use your faith to control yourself in the midst of it. Stay in peace. God never said that we wouldn’t have difficulties, but He did promise we would have peace in the midst of the storms.
Following His Direction is not an easy task, it’s like A mom put a cake on the table and walk out of the kitchen and tells her child, do not touch the cake….
One of the hardest things for me is knowing what God wants and has shown me what to do, and I haven’t followed His direction. I haven’t followed His direction, because I am scared of what the outcome would be, scared of not knowing. I know better than anyone that I need to get out of my own way and not being afraid or in fear or what He has planned…but its me wanted to control the situation, I don’t want to let go of the now, because I don’t know what is ahead, I know it is Great Wonderful things that I deserve, but I am fearful of the in-between.
Still working on me & learning to Trust Him More!!
I often wonder about people that pass away… When they open their eyes and see God, do they ask why am I here already?
Does He explain to them that it was just time for them to come home? Does He say well done?
My mind often wonders about the really great people that I run across. I always assume & believe that they were Angels, sent here to show me something for a certain time frame. Then they are called home, because their job is done, their mission is complete.
What a blessing it is on this Christmas Day, and every day, to be able to give. The special, memorable times are those when you give the most of yourself to life. The opportunity to give is the opportunity to live with meaning and fulfillment. The spirit of giving is a sustaining force, enriching whatever endeavor or circumstance it touches.
Giving truly brings a richness to life that cannot be duplicated. Productive activity becomes vastly more productive when buttressed with the spirit of giving.
To express yourself through giving, to make a true and lasting difference in the lives of others, cuts straight to the heart of life. Giving with enthusiastic sincerity brings out the best in you. Giving brings virtues such as understanding, respect, compassion, gratitude, and humility together into a powerfully positive and enduring act.
The value of the gift is in the giving, and that value confers on all involved. The opportunity to make a real and positive difference is the great promise of life itself. Give of yourself, and all the world is better for it. Truly it is among the greatest of gifts to be able to give.
— Ralph Marston
“Do you want to be counted wise, to build a reputation for wisdom?
Here’s what you do: Live well, live wisely, live humbly. It’s the way you live, not the way you talk, that counts. Mean spirited ambition isn’t wisdom. Bosting that you are wise isn’t wisdom. Twisting the truth to make yourselves sound wise isn’t wisdom. It’s the furthest thing from wisdom – it’s animal cunning, devilish conniving.
Whever you’re trying to look better than others or get the better of others, things fall apart and everyone ends up at the others’ throats.”
The Bible – James 3:13-16
