Golden Life

Many people are living their lives for someone else, or trying to be something that they are not.  Why not live your life-like it’s meant to be lived– Golden!!

Some people walk around mad and upset about everything & everyone, Why???  Just think about these things…1st you have LIFE, 2nd you get the opportunity to walk and talk, 3rd you have a place to call home, 4th if you are employed, then you can be grateful for that, 5th if you drive, then you have a way to get around.  You have many things to look forward to when you open your eyes. There are a lot of reasons to be unhappy about things, but it’s probably better for you to just be happy about the simple things.

No day is promised to us, so learn to appreciate the simple things and let go of the things you can’t change.

Feelings

On any given day, we may feel good or bad, happy or sad, excited or discouraged, and a thousand other things. Although feelings can be very strong and demanding, we do not have to let them rule our lives.

Learn to manage your emotions rather than allowing them to manage us.

We have free will and can make decisions that are not based on feelings. Make right choices regardless of how we feel.

When There Seems to be No Way

Have you ever faced a situation and said, “There is no way this can ever be?” Maybe you thought….There is no way I can handle this pressure at work; There is no way I can pay my bills; There is no way….

With God’s help, there is always a way. Be grateful for it, it may not be way, it may not be convenient and it may not come quickly. You may have to go over, under around, or through difficult times – but if you will simply keep on keeping on, you will find a way.

What God has done for me

What God has done for me is more than I could have ever imagined.

I really didn’t think about what He has done for me (although I know that He has done a lot for me), until I told my story to a friend. A friend who had no idea of what I’ve been through. She had no idea, because I didn’t look like what I went through. I carry the scars, but those scars aren’t visible, they are forever sketched in my mind, but nothing that I want to walk around angry and upset at the world for.

When you think about what/who you once were – you then realize what he has done for you, and you just have to Thank Him for it.

Just a Few Things

The funniest thing I hear is you aren’t like most people I know….my response is yes this is true.

I love watching football and basketball, I actually know what’s going on and I can name players, coaches, etc..

I love my heels, but I also have a love for sneakers.

I am a mix between Me & someone you’ve never met!

(Just wanted to share a little humor)

Success Feeds Success

Successfully solving one problem puts you in great position to tackle the next problem that comes your way. Meeting a difficult challenge gives you the courage to take on even greater challenges.

Success in one area of your life can be built upon to positively affect all areas of your life. That’s why even the little, seemingly insignificant successes truly matter.

Achievement brings to you a type of satisfaction and energy that nothing else can provide. And it is an energy that can be leveraged into further achievement, and then into even more, in a splendid upward spiral.

When the big achievements seem to elude you, it’s probably because you’re ignoring the countless opportunities for small achievements. Not only do those small achievements add up, they multiply exponentially.

The rich become richer not because of what they have, but because of the direction in which their momentum is flowing. Even the smallest achievement will get your momentum flowing in that same productive direction.

Make something good happen. And there’s no end to where it can take you.~ Ralph Marston
