Who Am I Becoming?

Do you ever take time to look back at where you were, and wonder Who Am I Becoming? What has become of me? Where am I going?

There was a vision, intention & plan to your purpose when you were born. Some may still be figuring out just what their plan is on this earth. My advice is pay attention when people talk to you. Sometimes there are angels among us, that inspire, guide and help you along the journey.

You may not be where you want to be but, Thank God you are not where you were.

Growth & change are a big part of becoming who we are destined to be. Don’t be afraid of the changes. He is stretching us. Just like seeds need sunlight & water to grown, that is what we get when God places certain people on our path.

The Lord said be you for me, don’t try to be someone you are not.

Lost & Found

Although you aren’t on the designed path, you aren’t lost. You just took a wrong turn some where. Luckily God is always with us, but He won’t help you to get back on the right path, if you don’t seek him for Guidance. We may not see Him, but just know He is always there, always around. He is just waiting for you.

When you do acknowledge that you need Him and call out for help, he will come and get you and lead you back to the path that He designed for you.

Feelings

On any given day, we may feel good or bad, happy or sad, excited or discouraged, and a thousand other things. Although feelings can be very strong and demanding, we do not have to let them rule our lives.

Learn to manage your emotions rather than allowing them to manage us.

We have free will and can make decisions that are not based on feelings. Make right choices regardless of how we feel.

Challenge to greatness

A strong and meaningful challenge can energize you in a way that nothing else can. When confronted with such a challenge, look not at how you can get out of it. Instead, look for what you can get out of it.

Personally meaningful challenge can get you going in the morning and keep you focused throughout the day. It can fill your mind with great ideas and give you the energy to act on them. Throughout history, those people who have most notably distinguished themselves are the ones who faced the most formidable challenges, and who have risen to those challenges.

There is no shortage of challenge in this world. It is something available to anyone, though we often tend to run and hide from it. With challenge comes the energy to make life great. It is an intense experience, and yet there is no need to fear it.

You were born to face challenges, and each day you have become more skilled at doing so. Put that skill to good use. Take on those challenges that will compel and propel you to your own special greatness.

Enjoy the process

Do you see the effort needed to achieve success as a struggle or as a pleasure? If you consider it a struggle, you’ll fight it every step of the way and will probably not ever reach the goals you’ve set. Those who consistently achieve their goals are positively committed not only to the end results, but also to the process of attaining them.

No one does their best when doing something that is distasteful or unpleasant. And yet, there are certain specific actions necessary for success. Achievers learn to redefine their likes and dislikes. Those who accomplish much have found a way to actually enjoy the effort and discipline necessary to reach their goals.

To effectively reach your goals, you must either set those goals in accordance with your likes and dislikes, or you must align your likes and dislikes so that they compel you toward your goals. The choice is yours. The power is yours. You can enjoy whatever you decide to enjoy. Just imagine what astounding things you can accomplish when you truly decide to enjoy the process.

Success Feeds Success

Successfully solving one problem puts you in great position to tackle the next problem that comes your way. Meeting a difficult challenge gives you the courage to take on even greater challenges.

Success in one area of your life can be built upon to positively affect all areas of your life. That’s why even the little, seemingly insignificant successes truly matter.

Achievement brings to you a type of satisfaction and energy that nothing else can provide. And it is an energy that can be leveraged into further achievement, and then into even more, in a splendid upward spiral.

When the big achievements seem to elude you, it’s probably because you’re ignoring the countless opportunities for small achievements. Not only do those small achievements add up, they multiply exponentially.

The rich become richer not because of what they have, but because of the direction in which their momentum is flowing. Even the smallest achievement will get your momentum flowing in that same productive direction.

Make something good happen. And there’s no end to where it can take you.~ Ralph Marston
