Settling

The Free Dictionary definition of Settle For – to accept in spite of incomplete satisfaction.

People settle because they are impatient. They settle because they believe that this might be their last chance for something so let me grab it. They never take the time to think about if their were any signs that this might be for them.

People decide to settle for lack of having ambition of what could be out there for them & lack of faith. Faith tells you to have confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we don’t see~ Hebrews 11:1.

Women are probably the quickest to settle. They settle for that man who is not their Boaz. They settle for a man who is not good to them or for them, but some how they think he is. Why settle when God has the best for you.

  1. People are so diverse in their experiences. Why one person does something, doesn’t necessarily mean another person does it for the same reason. What if all you know is what you know and all you’ve experienced is what you’ve experienced,, and all you’ve seen is what you’ve seen, then how would you know there is anything else. You’re simply living within your experience. You just don’t know anything different. When we see people “stuck,” the best thing we can do, if possible, is introduce them to better. Sure some settle, but not all. Some just don’t know any better.
